My best friend is a 14 year old Minpin mix named Cody. He’s a bit crazy as I am told Minpins can be. Cody’s one of the smartest dogs I have owned. Previously I had owned poodles for thirty years. They are very smart dogs but I have to say Cody is as smart as my smartest poodle.

Fiercely protective, he barks at everyone he sees. He looks very scary but he’s really an old softy if you just say hello to him and give him a pat on the head.

Cody hates a whole slew of vehicles which include the USPS truck, Amazon, FedEx, UPS, school buses and any sort of truck trailering lawn equipment. He gets nuts and goes into a barking fit if he sees one from the window or heaven forbid while we are out walking.
